- Paperback Format – We’ll transform your manuscript into a professional 6 x 9″ trade paperback (perfect bound), like you see in bookstores.
- Front & Back Cover Template – You choose from 15 different high quality book cover templates. And yes, you can submit your own image for the front cover, but you must have the rights to the image you use.
- Black & White Interior – Provide a print-ready Word document and we’ll do the rest.
- Unlimited Images – Insert as many black and white images in the paperback’s interior as you want.
- Lightning-Fast Printing – Most books are printed and ready for shipment in about 4-6 business days.
- One-on-one Author Support – One representative will offer you personal customer service support, responding within 24 hours or less. We won’t refer you to a Frequently Asked Questions section of our website or a support forum. We’ll help you directly!

Package 2: SALE: $349.95 (reg. $399.99)?
This package is ideal for the author who wants book distribution. In other words, if you want your book published & available for sale at Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble (bn.com), and numerous other online retailers … this package is for you!
- Paperback Format – Your book will be professionally published as a standard 6 x 9″ perfect bound paperback book. You might want to instead choose custom self publishing company MindStir Media’s Pro, Gold, Diamond, or Platinum self-publishing package, which include multiple book formats. MindStir Media is our parent company.
- Front & Back Cover Template – Choose from various high quality cover templates (i.e. pre-designed themes). Optional: Submit your own royalty-free image for the front cover. Select any of MindStir Media’s self-publishing packages if you want an original cover.
- Black & White Interior – Your book’s interior will be printed in black and white (choose MindStir Media’s Children’s Book Publishing Package if you require a full-color interior). You’ll need to give us a fully formatted Word document and we’ll do the rest. What’s a “fully formatted” document? That basically means you’ll be responsible for creating a print-ready Word document, so be sure to add page numbers, headers, chapter titles, table of contents, etc. Don’t worry, we’ll send you a checklist. MindStir Media will create a custom interior for you with the purchase of a custom self-publishing package.
- Unlimited Images – Include as many royalty-free black and white JPG, GIF, or PNG images in the interior as you want for no additional charge.
- ISBN Assignment – A unique 13-digit International Standard Book Number assigned to your book.
- Barcode – The ISBN is embedded in the barcode. Most bookstores will not purchase a book without a barcode.
- Lightning-Fast Printing – Most books are printed and ready for shipment in about 4-6 business days.
- Global Distribution – Your book will be sold through Amazon.com and its international sites, BarnesandNoble.com, BooksAMillion.com, and many more U.S. and international retailers. Your book will also be available through Ingram and Baker & Taylor, leading wholesale distributors, so bookstores can order upon customer request.
- Complimentary Copy – We’ll overnight a free copy to you for your approval.
- Annual Distribution Fee – First year is included, but you will be charged – starting one year after your publish date – $25 to keep your book active at Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, etc. Your title will be removed from distribution if this annual distribution fee is not paid.
- Quarterly Royalties – Approximately every 90 days we’ll pay you 35% of the profit for each book sold through our retailers and wholesale distributors. We pay our authors via Paypal or check. Purchasing a self-publishing package through MindStir Media guarantees you a higher royalty rate, from 50% – 100% depending on the package.
- One-on-one Author Support – One representative will offer you personal customer service support, responding within 24 hours or less. We won’t refer you to a Frequently Asked Questions section of our website or a support forum. We’ll help you directly!
- Book Discount Program – Buy your own book at a discounted price: number of pgs x $0.028 + $1.25 = price per copy. For example, 200 pgs x $0.028 + $1.25 = $6.85 per copy.
- Non-exclusive Contract – You retain all rights to your book.
